For more than 15 years, I have worked independendently and I have led sizable design teams. I have presented to friends and CEOs. All along, I never lost contact with the craft of design. I have always tried to be a good example to those I managed by beginning with ideas not techniques and developing design with flexibility. I continue to do that today in my own studio.
I started Suburb Studio because I believe there is a gap in the level of design sophistication provided to large multi-nationals and the services accessible to companies with smaller budgets. Suburb was created to address this discrepancy. By limiting the number of projects the studio takes on, I can remain involved with the work.
